Hey all,

So I just got quoted for a service from Audi for £520. I’ve had it for under a year and it’s ran 9k miles. Road tax was also due which was £450 and on top of that, I also had to get new tires. Got Set of four Eagle F1s for around £650 so all in all, around 1.5k was spent on the car within a month.. :/

Just wondering if it was possible to go to Audi Technik in Glasgow for a service as I heard it may void warranty in doing so? Anyone know how much they may charge roughly?

The are a number of posts about the cost of servicing and they will have the information you need. However under EU legislation you can go to a alternative places to have your car serviced as long as they use genuine audi parts. Also audi do price match, at the bottom of this page https://www.audi.co.uk/owners-area/servicing.html

Got my first service done after 20k miles at Edinburgh Audi for £350.

Also all tyres needed changed after only 9k miles?

Seems to be the norm, mine lasted around that time. I suspect modern car tyre are to blame in their manufacture because we're not alone with tyre wear across the board.

Don't know, my Hankooks have done at least that (I have 17.5k miles on mine but use winter tyres for a few months of the year) over the last couple years and are still at 5-6mm left. That's with some days at the drag strip and not always driving it particularly easy. The Pirelli and Continentals don't seem to wear well compared to the Hankooks and the Michelins as far as I can grasp from feedback on here.

Apart from my Hankooks lasting about 10k, and I am very light on the throttle. It just depends more upon the driving conditions, as mine is very start stop, with a lot of braking, then the wear rate is different.

Really? I'm on 24k miles with original tyres and Audi said I've got another 4 or so months on them.

Ok my apologies, I didn't mean to start another debate upon tyre wear. We've done this to death in other threads already. It is what it is and varies from owner to owner, driving conditions to driving conditions..

Had first service yesterday after 18 months/ ~17,700 miles at Dundee Audi for combined oil change and inspection service. Cost would have been approx £284, but wangled some discount also.

Previous gen 18 plate Q3 service loan car for the day and car washed/hoovered (forgot to tell them not to wash it :D ). No other work needed at all and rear tyres ContiSportContact 6 are down to just over 4mm in that mileage, so all good

Can't fault Dundee Audi at all.

£350! Wow
Just been Quoted £403.12 in Sussex. I'm on 18200 miles and 19 months so it is oil change and inspection but the price is daft.
Any ideas?
It is a lease so needs to go to a main stealer I believe.
