Hi. I have a 2.0tdi 2018 Q5 with VC.

I am able to play single CD's but I understood that I could add multiple CD's to the HDD? The jukebox icon seems to be greyed out and I just can't solve it.

Anyone help with this?

Thanks,

As far as I’m aware, you can only load the jukebox from an SD card, though I haven’t tried this on my 2018 model Q5, as I use Apple Play from my iPhone.

Suggest you read the owner’s manual, as I’m sure this gives the info you need.

Thanks Allan. Manual is a bit overwhelming due to dyslexia but will give it another go. Tks.

I'd agree with that point, my SQ5 is my second Audi with HDD for jukebox, and the second that I have put nothing on as its too much of a faff....

My HD is completely full. Over the years I have converted over my DVDs to the flac format and stored them on my PC. I then put them onto a USB.
I have imported them into both my previous BMWs and now the Audi Q5. Imported perfectly.

Great. When I get in my car I want my music to be to hand easily. I spend way too much time at a computer all day to want to play with one to be able to put music in my car. So my HDD goes unused. If it had a CD I would still use it.

Not sure what you are saying here!
Your car will play CDs and DVDs when it arrives from the player in the Glove box. If you are talking about CD/DVD player not fitted to your PC, then where is the problem? I have a DVD writer on my PC, but I also have a laptop that does not. For that I purchased an external USB DVD writer, that I can also plug into my PC as a further option if required.

Just found the CD player... not really visible from drivers seat and no one really uses the passenger seat! Only taken me 15 months. Will put some CDs in car for my jaunt down M25 and M3 later today....

Enjoy.

Cars used to be such that you could get in and enjoy and manual was only needed for weird things like jacking points or changing a bulb... Now you almost have to read it to get the radio on...

Funnily enough the other half told me she had one in her A3 (non tech pack) and I still didnt think I had one and felt hard done to...

Thanks for helping me find it!!
