Hi we are currently in the process of buying a 2012 TTS. Car has been shipped up to Scotland and buying from a large dealer however we have just found out there is no service book with the car so we have no idea of the cars history. It’s put a bit of doubt in our minds on whether to buy the car without the history. Anyone came across this problem before and have any ideas how we can potentially get the service history of the car. Going to attempt contact with Audi tomorrow but any help would be appreciated. Thank you

It would put me off to be honest.

Unless Audi CS have any details of where the car was maintained or the car comes with a folder of receipts then it’s going to be fairly difficult to find out.

Was it sold advertising a full service history? If so, how would they know without the book?

I will be getting on to Audi today to check just wondering if anybody else had been through similar and had managed to obtain info from Audi and how easy it was.

We ordered the car up as it ticked every box and didn’t want to miss out when we spoke to our local dealers branch they said we would have to wait until the car came up to check the history didn’t think for a minute the book wouldn’t be in the car. It’s only done 40000 and 2 owners so it’s all fine from that side

Yes, and very easy, with both our TT and A1. Talk to your Audi Service Dealer nicely and you can get the full Audi Service history, like so:

TT Service

As long as its got a full Audi service history then you should be able to find out. Its if the car was taken to an independent then you'll probably struggle
