Red footwell LEDs

Has anyone put any in? I’m going to get the full interior light pack from t8ups and noticed that some newer Audi’s come with red lighting as OEM and I thought it looked nice, needs to be very subtle though..

T8ups sent a photo of them, the brightness can be dialled back it seems with VCDS or the green menu:

I think the above is too bright, about 60% or so of that brightness would be good I reckon.

Looks nice, the photos might not have come out right - looks a little orange, is it more red in person?

Pics where taken on my phone , it was also day light outside - but yes - they are Red not Orange. I also had them on full blast in terms of brightness for the pictures. I think 40-50% brightness creates the perfect interior ambiance at night without looking too tacky.

If you compare the footwell LED colour to the colour of the MMI buttons in the centre console, you will see that they match perfectly ... so yes, i guess my Phone does make Red colours appear more orangey

I too, went with red footwell LEDs with the interior lamp set from @t8ups - colour match is perfect match with the dash and switchgear illumination. Also have the ambient interior lighting enabled, set at about 30% , nice and subtle, looks very o.e.

I've also done this but got my wiring looms from @RobinA3 I had it supplied with LED bulbs and with the red covers to give it that glow rather than red LED bulbs. I have enabled the background lighting with Carista and set them to be on while driving rather than just when the doors open. I have photos on my phone, I'll try and post some if I remember later. The glow matches the colour from the 2 roof console LEDs quite well I think.
