Build date was locked in last Wednesday to 16th October. Before that it was 30th October. Cannot wait to get the car.

I had to sign 2 documents for my S4 one back in September stating the CO2 and MPG would change and then one this week with the final changes. Gave me options to continue with the order, change to another car or pull out with a full refund. I am not bothered about the CO2 or MPG so just singed them saying I wanted the car.

My S4 build is still progressing, havn' t had to sign anything yet in regards to modified emmisions! Current build week 16th October but already ticked over to Status 20 this morning.

C02 has gone from 175 to 179
Combined mpg has gone from 37.2 to 35.8

Have a word to your dealer. I think most dealers know that anyone getting an S4 is not going to cancel the order based on this as it makes no changes to the costs.

To give you an update on another order. I initially ordered my S4 Avant 11th August (although I only got an order code from them 04th September).

My Audi is saying build is expected to commence 08th January 2018, despite being advised several times on ordering that I should be looking at a November delivery..

I have a feeling this is due to the emissions holdup, but not sure as I’ve been told it’s just a guide and it could change. On querying the dealer they have said they actually haven’t been given build week slots for any S models yet (presume they only mean S4s). There are a lot of options included on the car I have ordered which I suppose may not help.

When logging into the tracker this week it has also been showing blank for me (and still is). However when I use the Json data today my build week has now changed from 08th January to 06th November. Hopefully this remains the case.

I signed the emissions/waiver document early-September.

Were do you find the Json data? Just logged on and couldn't find it anywhere.

use the below to get to the raw JSON data

Log into YourAudi and then go to https://www.audi.co.uk/myaudi-public-api/services/v1/orders

copy all the code into http://pro.jsonlint.com/ and click on "lint" as this will format the data into something readable

At the top you should see the order history and status at the top. Mine looks like

All week the tracker has shown no words to state where the car is at.....no predicted build date. Has anyone else had this happen? It was originally to be built on the 23rd of this month, and then put back until 20th november and now showing no date!!

Same with me Spike! Was at build date 6th November. I've had discussion with dealer who says rotor shortage and expect my car to be delivered 15th December but Audi UK say no rotor shortage and basically not to worry grrrr!

Starting to get really annoyed - I ordered on 4th July!

I've just spoken to Audi UK who tell me in no uncertain terms "no BE orders can be progressed due to a problem with the wheels, your Audi centre are aware of this and should've been in touch concerning the alternate choice of wheels"

Looking on the configurator, I can still build a BE with Rotors though........and the only other option is the black 18" wheels. And to top it all, the guy at my Audi centre is unavailable!

Mine was same build week and is on status 30 now since Sunday. So it's either still on the train to Emden or hasn't updated to say it's there. Apparently it can take 5 days to get from Ingoldstadt to Emden so according to Audi CS is ought to be status 38 by Friday.

Any update on yours pal?

I’m ****** glad mine snook through then!

I wonder what the issue is, perhaps it’s just no stock due to unexpected order numbers.

I wonder what the alternative is, surely they must offer another 19” and not just the black 18’s.

If it’s the spoke alloys from the S4 I’ll be sad as I much prefer those.

Unbelieveable! It is just inconceivable to think alloys wheels are the issue behind the delays. It is just so wrong for Audi to let this happen. Something more serious like engine failures could be forgiven, but alloys is such a simple thing that should be easily sorted out.

I spoke to the sales manager at Crewe Audi over 2 weeks ago who categorically said it was a Rotors problem and that my order may not be ready for delivery until April, and he couldn't guarantee that anyway. Apparently they grossly underestimated demand of the black edition. I put a post on to that effect at the time.

Ask your rep to find you another BE + rotor's order with a confirmed slot but which is still in the window where it can be amended to your spec. Explain you've been fobbed off and lied to for months and your not happy about that at all, not to mention the inconvenience. If he doesn't budge relay your dissatisfaction to the dealer principal. Or put it in an email to your rep and copy it to the dealer principal (and the gaffer of the group if they are part of one). It's not nice to get all ****** with them but sometimes being Mr Nice, doesn't get your issue prioritised correctly.

Or change to a s line with flat bottomed steering wheel, piano black interior inserts and them beaut V spoke 19's, and get it built in 2 weeks.

Yours will probably leave the factory on bonfire night, and add 4 weeks for it to get to the dealer and a week for them to pdi/register it etc so the 15th Dec sounds like the latest it should be ready for collection/delivery. Some light at the end of the tunnel anyway.

Have you looked at the JSON data to see if there is a build week in there ? alnsaz ordered 4 weeks before you, and theirs is being built about bonfire night so yours could realistically be about 3/4 weeks behind theirs which would be beginning December build.

Haha. Sadly I’m working today. But I have asked my rep to get me some photos of it.

I’m intrigues to find out if it’s had badge deletion. My original order showed badge deletion but then I was given an earlier build order to ensure my car would be here on time. (Thankfully otherwise I think I would be in the same boat as everyone else not getting their cars) but this one didn’t have badge deletion. They assured me it would be changed but the order never changed on the JSON date so I’m not convinced. I have a feeling it will still have the badges and they will be removed at the dealers. But at least my car is here in plenty of time.

Just the A4 and the TFSI deletion. It’s not the end of the world but I did ask them three times and they confirmed on the third time that they had added it to the order. So we’ll see.

Or just pull some dental floss tight and run it between the badge and car. Should pop straight off and then just use some tar remover for any stickiness left in the paint.

According to Audi CS, the vehicles should have left Emden within 14 days of leaving the factory. So in theory 14 days affer the date on your JSON date for status 30. Which will be very soon for your mean machine

I don't want you to panic, but I don't think they've even made yours yet - the tracking data you're seeing is an apparition. Get onto your rep immediately just in case. Your due to collect it in 6 weeks and delays of this magnitude are quite frankly unacceptable. Go get em tiger

My tracker hasn't been working in about a week either. Json page still works showing build date 16th October and been on status 20 for 14 days.

Mine is the same. This waiting is killing me but from what I have seen it should move onto the next stage towards the end of this week. just hope its a quick build and no delays.

Yes mine is 38 now, and was told by the dealer it’s on the urgent delivery list. Mine should come into Grimsby I would imagine... just got to stalk the boats now.

Wondering if anyone could tell me when the next boat is coming in
