Facelift Post Pics Of Your Facelift A3/S3 8V In Here

There's a huge amount of "energy" and vibrancy coming from those photos... some of the best Navarra I've seen posted in outside conditions. :)

HUGE...amounts of Energy and vibrancy..... This you.... @Gordo77

Quite a wet one when I picked her up yesterday, so here are a couple from a grey Sunday. Virtual cockpit and B+O an absolute win/must have.
Daytona grey with standard 18 inch allows is a better look than I expected.

Only con so far - when putting golf clubs in the boot, needed to take the driver out of the bag as it is too long - not a problem in the Golf which has a bigger inlay behind the wheel arch which the club heads can sit in. S3's privacy glass then comes into play.

So who has open and who has closed front grilles under the lights. Mine are open on the driver's side, closed on the passenger side. Is this a manual/auto thing or does anyone know the reasons?

MIne are open both sides and there does seem to be some sort of cooler behind each of them.

Did you fit 255/35/19 at the front or 235/35/19 all round?
Cheers Guys, yes 235 all round as wasn't sure if Rs3 had different haldex setting for the 255?. Work is getting in the way of play at the moment but will upload some decent shots at the weekend.

Think the 255s are predominantly to reduce understeer (hides) but would probably have meant you'd require laser wheel alignment if you'd had these so good move sticking to 235s in my opinion.

Thanks Rob, glad i stuck to the 235, while i'm on, the illuminated sills are awesome, definately worth it, there's some carbon s3 ones on ebay (3door) it says no connections required to onboard supply. Switching on and off is via magnetic switch. Pretty easy mod if thats the case

Picked Up Misses FL A3 and my A4 Yesterday.

Few Quick Pictures of the A3 collection.
Daytona is a lovey colour and I'm quite jealous of it.

A pretty basic spec in terms of toys - S-Line - 1.4 COD 150 - Daytona - Parking System Plus - Headed Seats.
If anyone wants any specific pictures I can take them. Otherwise I'll get some nice ones once the cars are clean and waxed.

Okay guys sorry I've been hogging it since picking it up last Friday, and I'm a bit of a sh*t photographer but here's my facelift s3 in ibis white... Bit of a dull day here in Leicester so not the best light, this is before she was all polished up as well... Excuse the autoglym mess, and the photogenic dog

Cheers for that..:friends:
The missus has a Leon with led's and I find them ok but the xenons on my car I find are brighter with the only issue being I think they need to be adjusted to light the road further ahead...It's going in for it's first oil change in the next month so will ask dealer to adjust them..
Would like to know what other F/L guys who have had the P/FL think about the led's also...:friends:
i had the pre f/l a3 sline with xenons and now got f/l s line with the LED'S. the big difference i've noticed is that they are a whiter purer white and seem to cut through the dark more if that makes sense. the all weather setting is far far superior to the old driving lights.

Looks fantastic, great photos.

Didn't realise that was a dog, thought it was the wash mitt. :D

Can believe you just leave your wash mitt laying on the floor like that, will get fully of dirt and grit, need to take better care of it. Ohh wait that's your dog :tearsofjoy:

Mine (manual transmission) are same as yours: open driver side, closed passenger side. Must be a auto vs man thing.

Hi guys,

I ordered my S3 a few weeks ago and just received an email to say it is in the preparation stage in the factory, I logged in to the online 'your audi' tracking service to take a look and noticed it is the wrong colour, Daytona Grey instead of Navarra Blue! I have alerted the dealership who acknowledged the mistake and said she will get on to it straight away, I am just hoping this doesnt delay the delivery :crying:.

Anybody else had a similar issue?

Cheers

I'd say you got switched to the better colour but that'd be controversial! :whistle2: lol

I would happily have a Daytona S3 mate, fancied a blue car for ages but always gone grey or black in the past so thought I would take the plunge... turns out everybody is trying to stop me lol!

Bit of a risk with Navarra as I haven't seen it in the flesh, however, pics look good, especially in the sun light :)

Had these fitted today at Wakefield Audi while it was in for a new scroll wheel for the MMI which was marked when i collected the car

You're right, Navarra blue is a belter of a colour. :D ;)

I wish the market I am in would offer Navarra Blue on the S3...we only get Ara blue for the S3.....but I want a dark blue S3..... :disappointed:

Just because of that, I am gonna pass on the S3.
