Finally fitted the Facelift Vents this weekend, definately not a five minute procedure
Last look at the PFL Vents before removal

after removal i had to use the soldering iron to pierce a hole in the venting and then made it bigger with a screw driver

After feeding in the wiring i connected it to the led of the ashtray so that it also works with the interior dimmer

what headlight switch are you using?
Getting my turbo rebuilt and hopefully book in a remap slot sometime soon!
Thought about it, but decided not to, as I'm running standard internals. Not really chasing 300bhp to be honest.Going hybrid?
Replaced tired hatch struts with Nitro-lift struts. What a difference, highly recommended!
Got link? Easy job?

New rad (old one leaking):
New tyres:
Done the rear axle bush's and front brakes. Rear axle bush's took an hour and a half reasonable easy once I hammered them out.
Rebuilding the turbo in the boot of my A6! lol I was suppose to get it rebuilt at the time of getting the CHRA, but my mate felt the hotside was too filthy, so took it away to shot blast it all clean, so the turbo is now fresh as a daisy for fitting!
Undo the manifold from the block with the turbo attached was how it came out on my S3. I'm also running a 3" down pipe, this was the easiest way?s3/k04??? what's the process of removing the turbo without having to rip everything else apart?

I wish I could answer you bud, but my mate is tackling it for me. He told me it was easy to undo the manifold and remove from the top. Exhaust and dp is still in situ, turbo was lifted off with mani as one unit.I ask cuz I wanna port out my turbo and would rather not pull the head if I don't have to. I also have 3" DP. I'm all good disconnecting that after pulling the sub frame. After that I've not tackled anything further.
So assuming this is the way
- remove everything above to undo top DP nut
- get under and undo subframe and rack and let it dangle
- undo DP (remove?)
- undo mani
- undo tip & turbo oil and water lines
- Lift out mani and turbo as one???
I know most of the nuts on the driver's side are accessible. What about the ones behind the turbo?
Any special tools needed to detach the manifold?
What's your suspension set up?
Thanks
