I will harass him again today....I can't wait to be able to track it, and be regularly disappointed with how slow it is...sounds like fun

It Starts out as fun...... then turns in to a sick addiction watching the screen at ten past one in the morning hitting refresh like a drug fueled junkie looking for his next hit... or in this case status update! lol

5mths!! I'm still at status code 00 having ordered on 12th April but hoping for a 3 month wait max. Might be being too optimistic but fingers crossed as I haven't gone overboard on the options:

A4 Tfsi s line saloon manual
Folding mirrors
Hill hold
Flat bottom steering wheel
Privacy glass
Alcantara/leather seats
Led ambient lighting

Yeah, they reckoned October/November for delivery when I ordered earlier in the week. Hopefully they're being pessimistic and it'll be a bit quicker than that!

Yeah, great, I have seen that.
My dealer reckons 2 weeks today for collection, as my car has to go to a central group PDI centre before the dealership - Can't wait!!
I am sure we'll see status 40 tomorrow...
Strangely, I didn't say anything about the cars status when I phoned today, I waited for him to tell me and he said "oh yes, it arrived in the country yesterday" I have seen someone else mention dealers noting premature arrival, weird.
I assume if your car goes direct to dealer, you may have it in a week?
Fantastic turnaround from the factory - I'm chuffed and I hope others on this forum can share our luck!

Fantastic. 2 weeks will fly by I'm sure! Yeh that is odd about premature arrival notice, oh well, doesn't change anything.
I'm unsure if my car goes to a similar central PDI centre. Not that I'm aware of but I haven't had much communication with my dealer.
My collection will have to fit in around my work shifts, but I'm currently hoping to collect it week commencing Monday 9th May.
Yeh great build turnaround, hope others are as lucky as us!

No status 40 this morning I'm afraid, no change in status at all. Not surprising though as the African Highway moored up quite late last night.
Due to the Bank Holiday weekend I'm guessing nothing will happen now until Tuesday / Wednesday.

I'm the same mate! Still at status 40 since the 28th! Dealee tells me it should be anytime this week.

I have been waiting since December! Haha I told the dealer it's taking too long and if it's not here by next week then I will have to consider other options.

Getting daily updates now from them, he's told me as soon it comes in I can have it the next day! So fingers crossed! They really don't want me to cancel the order lol

The status 60 will not show on YourAudi tracking. It is a day behind too as I'm told. So for all we know our car could be going out on the transporter this morning, they use ECM and I'm sure they don't work on a bank holiday!

Fingers crossed then mate. Mine is a lease with pretty much the worst communication ever.. The only thing i have to go on is the Tracker. Learned my lesson... next time ill go direct through a dealer. Keep us updated of your progress

I am not sure what has happened with the tracker, I have been at status 39 since 29/04, it sure is a long way from Emden, or an incredibly slow boat!

I'm eagerly awaiting an update like @Krusovice! I reckon the Bank Holiday has mucked things up and delayed things. Dealer told me cars can stay in the UK port of entry for up to 10 days (not sure if that means working days). Hoping for an update to the tracker in the early hours of tomorrow. But won't get my hopes up.
Still hoping I'll have the car in the next couple of weeks maximum

Okay so an update! Finally the dealer has had a fax come through from the transport company - they have sent the manifest through and it has my VIN number on there!

They have collected the car from Grimsby just an hour ago, they will store it at their depot over night - driver will go out early n the morning and it should be with them first thing!

Now he's confirming that he can do the PDI same day and I will go and collect it tomorrow too!!!! Otherwise it will be Thursday!

When you do eventually get he car I will be interested in what the performance from the engine is like, its a cracking good engine in my a3 saloon and I am hoping that audi will eventually release it in the a4 as a sline model...

Yes sure will share plenty of pictures for sure, it may be dirty mind as I have told them not to valet it! Going to detail it myself this weekend all being well. Plus its a 200 mile drive home from the dealer.

Yes it took a lot less than 2 weeks. Arrived into Grimsby on the 26th (late evening), PDI on the 28th and it was booked by Audi UK for transport on the 29th which was the Friday. ECM were assigned the delivery and collection and they don't work bank holidays apparently. So it was collected today by them at around 3:30pm, will stay in their depot overnight - truck will go out at 3am from Doncaster and arrive at dealer for anytime tomorrow. So currently its sat on the back of a transporter...

So we thought it would be safe to collect on Thursday afternoon, they just need to PDI and register it tomorrow as soon as it comes in. There is the risk of it arriving late into the dealer tomorrow so we just wanted to be on the safe side.

That all sounds like a great service / turnaround.
Mine went to status 39, 'on its way', I think Thursday so I (sadly, some might say), started to track the African Highway ship, which arrived Friday, unloaded and was heading back to Emden on Saturday.
Car is still at status 39, nearly 5 days later, not sure what's going on, hopefully status will change tomorrow and it will be transported to the dealer soon after... (sheerness)

Well I'll be moving from the 1.4 Tfsi to a 2.0 Tfsi so hoping it's just as pokey and smooth. I test drove an s tronic 2.0 version at the dealers but have yet to try the manual version. Could definitely feel plenty of power when you out your foot down. Wasn't so sure about the stronic gearbox as it seemed to take an age to get going when feeding the pedal.

OK so you should start to see it move by the end of this week and be in QC early next week, get prepared for marine tracker to take over your life!

Mine had the same build date as yours (9th of May). It jumped from preparation to quality control overnight. Was told a mid June delivery for my A6.

I reckon you'll see an update tomorrow, as the trend seems to be the tracker starts moving on the Thursday before your allocated build week. Fingers crossed for you

Dealer is going to update me later today hopefully with all the information he has.
I suspect that they slipped the order into the start of May to get a new months sales figures off to a good start, he went very quiet at the end of April for a week....oh well its only a week

My dealer has emailed to confirm that the car is at the UK port (Sheerness) and that a transport order has been raised. He has a VIN for my car now so he can issue the PCP finance documents. He says that the car should be ready for collection within 7 days from now, probably sooner though he says. However I can't get to Exeter to collect it until Wednesday 11th next week, so I've pencilled it in for then!
He has said by email that I need to "pop in" to sign the finance documents, but I don't want to make a special 1.5 hour trip there to just sign some paperwork. He seems to say that there needs to be 24 hours between signing them and collecting the car. Although my mother-in-law collected her new Golf recently and I'm sure she signed hers on the day of collection.
I'm going to ring him shortly to ask what my options are, as at one point a couple of months ago I'm sure he said that he could probably post the documents out to me to sign and post back.

Further update!... The dealer has just emailed again to say that he has now had notification that my car will arrive at the dealership tomorrow!
