Service notification

Hi,

Need some help on how to change the service notification time, do I use vag com? If so what's the procedure?

Basically you need to play with the adaption channels in the instruments

Do you just want to reset the service indicator or actually change how often it come on once reset?

Thanks tuffty will check it out when I'm back at home, I'm wanting to reset it so it does keep coming on and yeah change it for when it next should come on

If you just want to reset the light it actually tells you how to do it in the Audi A3 user manual... It's some sort of combination of pressing/holding/releasing the mileage button and switching the ignition on/off, the exact combination escapes me at this moment but it shouldn't be too had to find!

Did you ever get this sorted mate? . . Here's what it says in the book:

-Switch off ignition
-Press button 2 (one by speedo) and hold while switching on the ignition. The display should now read "SERVICE!"
-Press and hold button 1 (by rev counter) until the word "SERVICE!" is cleared from the display.

Which is obviously slightly different to the video, worth a punt

Cheers buddy I have managed to do this with the method above it reset to 9300 miles.appreciate your help with this btw
