Right guys @ Crewe,
Been down today as had some stuff to sort out.

Next week they are having a grey, a blue and a ** S3 coming in. Should all be collecting at similar times.

Ross has left and Phil my sales guy has taken over his cars.

Paperwork signed today and collection 9am Saturday 18th set. Just need to decide on service/maintenance and or tyres programme :). Funny watching grown men collecting their cars today and subsequently giving wife's/girlfriends the kiss before they drove off in their old cars and the boys in their gleaming new motors like children
 
I'm going to stock up on items from Polished Bliss for the new PAJ but although I'm only 10 minutes from them I still need to get them delivered as they don't allow walk-ins now :(

Ditto. Sudds car was on the same boat and he has heard. What about Challs - think yours was on African Highway last week?
I have emailed my dealer but no answer yet. Don't want to be too impatient and look pathetic!!
 
I'm the only one who hasn't heard then. I bet my dealer has a day off. How dare she at such a crucial time!
 
Spoke too soon! She just sent me my registration number. It's arriving tomorrow. Pick up Saturday.

Well actually I was going to ask what choices I had when she said it had arrived. But she sent the reg number at the same time! But it's a very memorable one which has my surname initial twice, so I will kid myself that I chose it. There probably would not have been any better ones unless I bought one, and I didn't really want to do that.

Now I'm hoping for better weather on Saturday than we are having today - it's been ******* down since the sun came up - well actually the sun hasn't really come up at all!

BW39, arrange collection Thursday, been at the dealers since Tuesday last week, but unable to get to it!
 
Gave the cab it's last wash and clean yesterday to at least hand her over on Saturday with some decency to then be told its a beautiful car so he was surprised when I said it was going. But hey bring on the beast of S3ness :jester:

More sad to read about the A3 theft up north - scumbags.
 
BW37, FINALLY collected last night (it was ready sooner but I was away).
Absolutely over the moon, really happy with all the cosmetic decisions I made this time round (Sepang, red callipers, S3 wheels, de-badged, mono.pur, interior lighting).
And the difference in exhaust/engine sound compared to the 2.0 TDI I had before just made my day on the drive home, even though I was being very gentle.

For you guys that have just taken delivery - and spec'd ACC Adaptive Cruise Control -

can you have a look at the front of your car, and see if it has a FLAT or DOME sensor

then please could you update this thread, just state Build Week/Year e.g.: BW36/2014, model (e.g.: 1.4CoD)
and say if you have a Flat or Dome sensor.

Hopefully she will be a little slicker in looks come Saturday morning but for now nice to see her waiting for prep.
