Hi All,

I decided that I needed and change and new project so sold my beloved VW MK4 R32 for this A4 Avant 1. T..

Have to say its immaculate with 53000 just on the clock, its be a loved machine that has been garage stored.



First things on the project:

1. Remap of Engine
2. Lower look
3. Powder Coat or change alloys
4. Dress up the engine bay to match the car colour
5. Possibly fit a Carbonio Intake System

Honestly it was costing a fortune as much as I loved it and spent time at shows etc it was the running cost that killed it in the end.

Mine was a mk4 and you are talking

£50 week hi-ron fuel (avg 19/21 mpg) on motorways @ 60 mph.. They are notorious gas machines

Service was costing £400 - £500 each time and if you need the haldex done double that.

Wheels where £100 - £120 each easily

Not to scare but that the truth with the big engine and hopefully you but one that's been well looked after or it will cost you a lot more. Best place to buy one is the R32OC forum as there are 4/5 cars for sale currently..

I had also spent 2k on parts and labour fixing the engine within a year..
