how to remove front indicator on a pre-2001 A3?

Any help? Do I need to remove the whole headlamp? any pics appreciated

If you open the bonnet and look directly above where the indicator sits you should see a hole about 8mm. directly under that sit a plastic srew on the indicator to secure it to the headlight,
Turn the srew about quarter of a turn until it stops and the you should see a flap that moves anway from the rear of the headlight to release the indicator unit forward and should just push out.
