I am about to swap my 2012 A4 2.0 TDI CGLC (manual gearbox) 64k miles for 2012 (June 2012) A5 1.8 TFSI with Multitronic (VIN:WAUZZZ8T0CA035276) 52k miles.
I am swapping because my car needs some extra "love" (money) to be put in and I found a pretty good offer on this A5 I mentioned.
I heard a lot of bad stuff about Multitronic transmissions already and to be honest I have mixed feeling but I believe that if I check the car properly I may be happy with the "new" car.
My question to you is:
What do you think about multitronic gearboxes and how to properly test it when buying (I do not have computer diagnostic tools) ?
Any other clues and tips are most welcome as well
I already know about issues with bushes (I literally start to have the issue with them in my A4) btw I heard that's one of the most common issues with Audi hah.
