I was surprised how easy it is to work with!!! Spray it on, wait, spray more layers, wait, heat gun and wrinkles appear!!!

Well I finally got my H&R Coilovers back from Bilstein after 5 weeks!
This model didnt have the ARB tab on so went to be modified and refreshed, Can't say im really over the moon on the colour, look like they been zinc sprayed not re plated.

Any how this is them after the tab being welded on, little lower than factory height for the tab so shortened drop links for me!:

I wrongly assumed the discs would come with new disc screws, so now waiting on some of those to turn up next week.

The day didnt stop there!

Decided to get the new hadlex earth strap fitted, sure Audi didn't provide the correct one but it fitted and will do the job.

Haha cheers mate, yeah painted most things, i am sure i will paint more, gearbox next.
I am kind of, it is on the car park at the back where i live lol
Been its home since middle of December.

Just bolt the wheels on and the discs will be fine. They just help to keep the rotor still while you do other stuff.

Yeah i know mate, but ive got some other things to do just yet anyway.

Got some blue wire loom cover stuff whatever its called, to freshen it up and then go round torquing every nut and bolt other than wishbones and rear arms until weight is on it.

I must admit I really really wanna see it with the wheels on it!

Not much to update really yet.

Other than got these ready for when the engine goes in:

y4mLv0Zzm9oVifJ7jDvxV0S_lyeEpJEg8lMDdhfA0VQxt7Wd4WgvjCRSuOq8LUYKbsxSpffkRi_gz_xrUPfwJEXX4jtcSEbEV4irNbX9DVFWlC4f6Iuqzg-cnPt6gX0BBQKczkapKnaDbvhjAauA6BsWf1NqN37QsZwlOyCuV1erLgMmooreFaAx05kIrVod2MZAHvV_ZyhQbVRhqZKABF4ug

Any difference in quality vs. CM version?

Never had creation motorsport. Always heard they were terrible quality and don't last.

Plus got a pretty decent discount on these. So worked out only a couple of £ more than the cheap ones.

Well a little few updates:

Got these coolant hoses

Finally getting round to fitting the nice bits!

What they don't tell you with these cast housings is they definitely need the casting inside cleaning up. Didn't get any pics of that!

The wires were cable tied up in that location these were the Boost safe wire and the solenoid wire

This last stage if someone can confirm if this is done correctly as i am doubting myself a little

The "Arm Switch" from meth kit i have wired a loop terminal into the the "Yellow 75x" - Assuming this is the switched live wire for the AEM kit.

Now the "12v Battery" wire off the AEM kit - I assume this is a permanent live wire, as it is destined to the battery in the AEM diagram. I have wired this into a red "30"

Now i wanted to be able to switch the meth kit off completely if the need ever arose. So I wired the "arm switch" wire from the AEM kit to the yellow 75x the Red "30" to said switch, earthed the switch then last terminal off the switch to the AEM kit acting as a "break" in the permanent live. I hope this make sense. So question being will this switch work as expected?

I didnt include the "arm switch in this loop as i assumed this is only on once the controller activates the pump ??

Aaand My hidden rocker switch

I haven't got the glove box installed yet so cannot show the completed install, but will update the post once other wiring is completed.

Ive also took on wiring in heated seats (for winter)

I stripped another s3 of the heated seat loom and got left with this:

The wiring diagram i followed was (Not sure who the original creator was so credit is due to them and thank you whoever you are):

I purchased the Audi repair wire to wire this directly into the blank Fuse #44 spot (OEM location for heated seats)

I fed all the wires through best i could to the original locations

i did splice into wires for the A/c unit and matched the wire colour etc ( I hope this is an acceptable way)

One wire is the illuminated to dim switches.
The other is the 7.5 amp fuse, which goes to the fuse box ( i hope this will be ok? If not can someone shout up.)
The other option if this isnt ok way to do the 7.5 amp (conv electrics according to benltys) Ill change this and take it directly the the 75x switched

PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF A GURU SEES THIS AND CAN POINT OUT A POTENTIAL HAZARD! No power is anywhere near the car yet so easily rectififed.

Assuming that lot is ok I put some things back together for now awaiting advice:

Their some work gone into this looking good, if you solder over the wires for a better connection and less likely to come undone if you redo the so the connection follows on in line (-- instead of /\ if you get me) rather than coming back on it self you would get some shrink wrap over it

Cheers Buddy, Yeah get what you mean, but out of the picture is the other ends of the wires coming to the A/C unit from the main loom so i had join from seats loom into that point /\ then from the main loom so was like --< just pointing upwards and used a joiner that is glue lined then melted round wires
