A3 Production fugures

I have just picked up the following figures for the production of A3s in 2014 from the Audi Annual Report:
A3 - 26,301
A3 Sportback - 176,211
A3 Saloon - 93,567
A3 Cabriolet - 13,700
Q3 - 197,919

Wow very few 3 doors by comparison. I wonder how many s3's where produced as a % of overall. And what the petrol/ diesel split is.

Would guess number of S3's is less than 10% so 15,000ish. If you assume 10 major markets with equal sales numbers would mean 1500 in UK new per year so just over 100 new per month. Which sort of ties in with my dealer saying they sell 1-2 S3's a month and guess there are around 50 dealerships in the UK......so not very many at all.

I am amazed at those figures!! In reality and on the road I'd say I see 10x more Sportbacks than Saloons... Where are all of these saloons hiding???

I would expect most Saloons are going the the US. These figures are total production for all markets.
