Audi S3 production time

So I've been told my car would take 2 months to be delivered to me and It's been almost 2 months now and I got a confirmation that the car will be produced this week.

Anyone know how long it take to produce a highly optioned S3?

Production of bodies and all the other components is done all the time ahead of final assembly. Final assembly takes only a few hours so if your car starts on a final assembly line say on a Monday morning of it's build week it will be completed that day and will probably leave Ingolstadt by train later that day or at least within a day or so. It may be a couple of days later if it is one of the cars selected at random for additional quality control testing. The number of options ordered does not make any difference as these or delivered by a computer controlled system to the correct place on the final assembly line as necessary.
