Rear wiper won't work

Hi! My rear wiper on my A4 avant (1.9Tdi sport) has stopped working altogether. Anyone got any idea what the problem could be ?,

Probably the washer pipe has split and leaked all over the motor rusting it out.

Does this mean i will need a new motor ? Any idea how i get into the rear wiper motor ?

You need to take the trim off the rear tailgate, and the motor's in there. I've not done it but I can't see it being a major job.

you might have fun getting the wiper arm off. they tend to seize on and then snap when you wiggle them to get them off.
