Sorry to hear this. To reduce the amount of negative equity I would recommend giving the car to a garage on a sale or return basis. This is what I've done with my S3. You still own the car while it is up for sale and pay off the finance when it sells (or before depending on your circumstances)...

I've been into Watford and they don't do Sale & Return, Amersham Audi didn't want to know - had too much stock apparently. I'll give some of the independents a go.

I would say August is unlikely if you've ordered a Q5. It's built in a new factory in Mexico and takes a month from leaving Mexico to arriving in Germany. Then the usual wait (around a month) to get to the UK. My Dad ordered one in November and was due for June delivery, however he got fed up...

Worth bearing in mind that if you're getting your car on a PCP the APR is much higher on a used / pre reg car than new. It's worth seeing if your dealer has any cars already built in their system waiting to be registered and sold.

Direct Line are usually pretty reasonable.

You think the time to get from QC to the dealers is bad for the A3/S3..... My Dad has a new Q5 on order which is now in QC... Audi CS have told him it will be another 3 MONTHS before it is due in the UK as it's being built in Mexico. He ordered at the end of November!
