Centre console

My A4 had aftermarket gauges fitted in the centre console behind the gear stick which ive removed today. Can anyone post a picture of theyre centre console so i can see what should or what can be there?

Its std on RS4 models and an option on S4's I got the lot from ebay. You can get copies,but the only place i have seen that is the US

love that pioneer head unit byzanA4 was gona go down the navi plus road thinking i wanted OEM looks but for the hassle duno if its worth it! was it much bother to fit that?

Easy mate, once the conversion kit arrived from the US, positioning the wires was interesting as there are quite a few if you use all of the features. So i put everything in there so i do not have to remove it anytime soom

Are the US twin DIN as standard then?

No the US is the only plce that sells a double din to aftermarket conversion kit .Metra Brand iirc for Ebay.com

Thats what i have, but it only works if you have a double DIN already, it allows you to be able to stick a single din or double din Aftermarket unit into the Audi hole

Ahhh i see. DIdnt know any A4s had double din. What model was that then?

it was an upgrade to facelift models and would come with Symphony Cd/ Cassette/radio
the A/C unit is a different shape do is the ashtray and the trim around the gear lever

hell no the air con went along time ago the pump is as big as the engine lol but i didn't want to get rid of the heaters Ive had cars in the past with non and its poo

so the unit just runs the fans now and heat control

Strangely, I'm going to install climate into Outlaw, still holding back for a B6 dash though.

Sounds like mine, except you took yours out deliberately. Mines just knackered.

I do like that console, though. It will match those stack dials nicely when you get them...
