Whats this and ideas on oil leak

Hiya,

I've just spotted oil leaking onto my alternator.

Firstly anyone know what the part is / called so i can start to seek one, secondly is it just a case of swapping it out or is workshop a safer bet? I'm not totally incompetent with a spanner, just don't fancy stripping everything down

Its a 2007 2.0 tdi quattro

Brake cleaner the oil etc away so its clean, then revisit in a few days, looks very minor tbh, may not be necessary.

Looks like a vacuum unit, has it got an actuator attached.
