What's the best engine flush to use?

I get to use my car every day now due to change in jobs recently and just wondered which engine flush would be best to use if any. I had it services last November, in which it had been sitting for 6 months prior to that. It runs ok but it's due for an oil change next month. It's done 89000 miles and is 15 years old. Any recommendations?

I wouldn't recommend a flush, use a cheap semi synthetic for up to a week then drop and refill with the good stuff.

As above. Maybe drop the sump and clean pick up pipe at the sane time

I'd just drop the sump, clean it. Change the oil pick up pipe whilst your at it, treat it to some fresh quantum oil and your good to go! Change it again in 3k miles and your happy!

Cool, thanks for your advise. I'll get the oil done as I had the pick up cleaned ect just over 1yr ago.

I agree with above, I change me oil 4 times a year (yes I know it's to much)!

In the 3 years I have owned it, around 8k a year.
