What to look for in s3

mates going to look at one tonight 1.8 210 bhp engine ? 96000k on clock just looking for anything to look out for ? Advice etc?

Hi mate. Would say try the search function which will help. However normal areas to check for any car apply to the s3. I would say check for any smoke on idle, oil leaks/diff, and that it pulls smoothly. Am sure a more experienced owner will be along shortly to give their input.

Thanks I've got a stage 2+ 8p s3 myself but don't know much about the 8l don't even know anyone that's owned one etc he's going to have look tonight so hope it's alright

Let's hope it is, mine appeared a good one but have spent £££'s fixing things, all part of the fun though.
