I am looking to possibly buy a new A3/S3 (not decided yet) and I was just wondering if anyone had any advice on what kind of discounts are currently available on a new A3/S3? Are main dealers able to get anywhere near the prices quoted on drivethedeal or similar sites? Also any advice on buying one on finance/PCP - should I be trying to haggle the RRP down first? I just want to get the best value for money over the term.
If you know of any particular dealers that are willing to match such prices would you mind sharing (Particularly if in North of England/Yorkshire)?
I'm torn between an A3 and a BMW 3 Series which I know I can get £4-5k knocked off easy.
Any help/advice much appreciated.
I currently have a A3 1.4TFSI (MY11) which I managed to get about £1500 discount from main dealer when I bought new back in 2011. The clutch is biting high and have been quoted £1200 for it to be replaced but I figure that that it won't reduce trade-in price if I was to buy a new Audi?
