Problem viewing latest posts

on the old style forum and other forums. you click the section you want to view. I.E B6 Audi A4. you have all the stickys at the top. why do i have to scroll to the bottom of the page select click thread display options and latest post first then set options' Just to view newer posts first. then say when i come back to the section have to do it all again. its so annoying' feels like posts end up allover the place
