Hello Audi lovers.
I own an Audi A4 2.0TDI ( B8.5 - Facelift ), 177HP, Quattro, Manual Gearbox.
My problem consists in an annoying vibration that only happens in 5th and 6th gear when accelerating hard from 2000 rpm and persists up to 2400rpm then the car accelerates smooth .
There are no noises when this happens and it gets worse if there is a slight hill than you can as well feel it in the 4th gear.
I went to a garage a guy drove the car. He said the vibration is coming from the rear somewhere and that the reason could be the propershaft.
I have a video where I move the propershaft back and forward and it does move but I`m not sure to what extent it was meant to move. The garage guy wasn` t sure either. ( Unfortunately I can` t upload videos )
Now, my questions are:
1. Is this a common problem for quattro models ? from 2012 ?
2. From your experience can it be something else ?
3. Is it worth buying a used propershaft?
Thank you very much for your time.
