Turbo oil leak?

I've changed my intake yesterday for Racingline R600, and when I pulled the inlet elbow out I noticed significant amount of oil inside. There was some in the turbo as well. Is that normal to find so much oil in this place?

What sort of mileage is your car on? I'm not sure how much is normal but it is normal to have a little oil there. mine had some when I fitted my elbow at 25K miles. might be worth checking if the cooler has any in there. how much oil does your car use between services?

Mine has 34k, I haven't noticed any serious oil consumption and service didn't say anything about it.

I wouldn't be concerned, just clean it up and away you go. It'll just be oil vapour pulled through the crank case breather system that feeds back into the intake.
