Just fitted spacers to my FL and although the caps fit, they are not snug and secure like the OEM bolts..

Any tips on how to secure these to non-OEM wheel bolts?

You could always insert some black tape onto the plastic walls to make them ‘tighter’ so to speak.

I lost 3 of these on the way home from collecting my car new. Blue/Black Tak, the office adhesive stuff.... Works great.

I wonder if there are better looking wheel bolts available and just delete them altogether. Rather stupid design.

Sorted thanks. It was just the locking bolt caps which didn't want to go back on - blue tak to the rescue.

True but only on OEM bolts.
I remember having to buy a revised set from a different model to make sure they were a snug fit.

I threw out a boxful of these I found in my garage the other day. Pointless things, dunno why I kept 'em!

...........i disagree. If you look at some Mercs/BMW models that don't have them after a while the wheel bolts start to rust & look crap against a nice looking wheel spoiling the look.

Anyone know where I can get some normal Audi wheel nut caps from? I think they’re 17mm. I had my wheel spacers on with the extended bolts and I’m obviously missing one on each wheel where the locking wheel nut was before hand.

Cockend strikes again! I swear you live on this forum. I refuse to pay £26 quid for some wheel not caps from Audi as I only need 4.

I purchased one single cap from Audi In Milton Keynes, so some dealers will sell less than a full set.

Excuse me ????

You asked where you could get Audi wheel bolt caps from...........so i told you, makes sense to me.

Audi dealerships sell Audi spare parts, it's how they fix and service cars by having stock of spare parts.

There's a very good parts dealer who sponsors this very forum if you can be bothered looking, but guess what ? He's an Audi dealer.........

If you refuse to pay £26 then don't buy 'em no one is forcing you to are they ?

You have an RS3 parts ain't gonna be cheap, get used to it.

Wow sooooo expensive aren’t they.

I only need 4 though so why would I want to pay £26. I’m clearly not as clued up as you are and didn’t realise you could get them separately?

Just because I have an RS3 doesn’t mean I can and should splash a load of cash haha, that’s the way you make it sound.

Who in their right mind would pay £26 for a bit of plastic when you only need 4! As I said in the previous post, I wasn’t aware they could be bought otherwise.

You’re extremely facetious and patronising in how you come across.
