stereo in phone mode

hi all changed battery today put in 4 digit code satnav and radio ok but know volume has gone in to phone mode and cant seem to remove it from phone mode it is a aftermarket hands free kit does anyone know how to get it off phone mode i need my tunes

disconected battery for 10 mins then reconected i have now removed the hands free kit
