Plenty of good head units from the usual Kenwood, Alpine, Pioneer that will work with your Audi with a suitable wiring harness/canbus adapter and keep the steering wheel buttons.

I like the extra flexibility of running Android rather than WinCE operating system due to application availability... Don't like the standard SatNav app, then just install a different one or use Google Maps or Waze if you have 3G connection available. Same can be done with music apps. Android units tend to cost a lot less too.
