Audi a3 2012 1.6 tdi. Hi. So the other day I tried starting the car, I never hold the key turned the full time for the engine to start the car does it for me. But yesterday it didn’t start this way and it threw me the Start stop system fault and the glow plug light started flashing. I can start the engine ok but I must hold the key turned full time until the engine is fully operational. I have cheap obd2 but it doesn’t show any error codes nor pending ones (usually it does). I went to clear the error codes while ignition on (engine off) and the glow plug light went off but right after I pressed the clutch pedal it went back on again and after releasing the pedal it went off. The car requires clutch to be pressed for engine to start and it drives all ok. Any idea what could it be?
