SQ5 SQ5 Rear bumper combination light

Hi guys, I was recently rear ended on my new car, some dents and scuff marks, main problem is the rear bumper light housing is cracked, lights are working fine. I just want to know if the actual red plastic reflector can be changed or does the whole unit need to be changed?

If you were rear ended I assume the insurance is paying so not your problem...?

But these days they like to sell complete units where possible to up the margins....

Ahh I see, I couldn’t see a way to just replace the cover as it looks like it’s glued in. They want to pay privately rather than insurance, either way I’ve filed a police report as well in case they back out of it, then yeah their insurance.

You can get pretty cheap OEM ones on eBay for £25. They are a doddle to change too.
