Sportback Roof Bars

Hi all,,

Been looking at a few A3 Sportbacks and a handful of them have chrome roof Rails fitted on them. Not too keen on them so just wondering if anyone knows whether they can be removed without exposing any damage under them on the roof (i.e. glue or drilled holes).

You can get black instead of chrome and also you can spec without the roof bars I think... I am pretty sure you cannot remove them as they are securely )i don;t know if riveted or screwed in the bodywork...

There are holes in the roof so you cannot remove them, the only option is to fit black ones but then its not as easy as it sounds as you have to drop the roof lining. I have the alloy ones on mine but I like them !
