Hi people
I've done many headunit conversions before but this one is doing my head in.
I've connected a Sony n5000bt in place of a concert headunit in an audi a3 8p. It is half rear amped (non bose).
Everything works except when I connect both front speakers the sound goes out.
If I disconnect one of the front right/left speakers from the 55w output the sounds plays back fine. I cannot understand what could be causing this. The headunit has an additional chassis ground added aside from the harness ground to see if this could cure it.
Both speakwrs read 4 ohms.
Both speakers have open circuit reading to chassis the Gnd
Both speakers have open circuit reading to each other.
The readings are taken from the harness connectors near the headunit to rule out the wiring too
Headunit is tried and tested working elsewhere.
