So apparently my car might be mapped....

Went this evening to get my cruise control coded in by a fellow ASN member @Darren92

And when he plugged it in it apparently brought up that my car has been mapped..

Something about Autotune in the VCDS.. Tbh I didn't really know much but how would I go about checking/confirming?

Would it be a simple ring the map company and quoting reg to see whether it's been done?

I would, nothing to loose, you may have to let your insurance know if this is the case , just to cover yourself

The tuner should have also kept your original map on his files so you can go back to it if you want. Most reputable tuners will do this for free.
