Had the warning light come on, pads looked fine so took it in, and they confirmed that the cable had snapped, but from the car end, not the brake pad end, the part that clips into the brake pads is gone, just 2 wires now, the mechanic stuck them together which had stopped the warning light, but still want to get this fixed, where do I buy a new connector and the best way to repair this?

Thanks

New loom required, dont think you can buy the plug on it's own. Can always try a beaker and put your wiring skills to good use.0

So is the connector on the pad still intact, if so then I've repaired these looms for clients before & connectors are available for most items.

VW use the plugs the other way around. Get an old set and cut off the connector.
