Small cracks inside headlight

So I noticed some very small cracks inside my headlights and have been looking into possible causes and have came across this tsb for it.
Does this mean Audi will replace affected headlights free of charge even if the car is out of warranty?

Has anyone else had any issue?

Car is a 2013 with 70k

My rear lights have micro cracks in them but only noticable from certain angles in certain light. Audi wouldn't do owt about it

US recalls don't apply to the UK.

Its rather annoying vag don't apply the same recalls worldwide if such issues are worldwide per se, like the dsg mechatronic extended mileage warranty in the US from 60 to 100k due to issues, having used the same components in eu cars, same should apply, I find it disgusting tbh.

You have to remember some of the components are manufactured for specific markets. For A6 there is a specific headlight for the USA market.

Yeah I wasnt being specific buddy, just the parts & ones that are shared & if the lenses are the same then its more than likely the same manufacturers & thus should follow suit, but we all know they sue for even poo on your shoe in the states.
