I’ve noticed that the horrible extremely soft metal down the central reservation has just got some awful scratches having picked up some friends from the airport. Is there any known way to cover them up or buff them out or just maybe replace that section?

wow if my friends treated my car like that they wouldn't be friends for long!

Maybe a specialist could repair them, I wouldn't fancy having a pop myself. Or maybe even wrap them if you don't like them!

I'm sure someone looked into replacing them a while back and they weren't cheap!

Thanks, I know it’s lousy, but I know that metal part is ridiculously easy to scuff (like one of the early iPod backs!) so I’m sure it was an accident. Will pluck up the courage to ask Audi how much they’d charge to do it...

Replaced mine with the carbon atlas from the S5 for £1125
(I didn't pay for it mind you)

Black ones were scratching like mad even with light use, not sure what the drop down in quality has been as my old car was 4 years old and didn't have anything like that.

I'd wrap them personally!
