Service campaign 90k2

My Avant had its second annual service today. As part of the service the above work was also carried out. It was explained to me as something to do with the service interval display. Anybody else had this done? It was apparently a national recall but the recall must have passed me by.

Nope, not on mine. Had it serviced last October, thus it is due again then so I wonder if the recall, if it is, will show up.
It doesn't sound like it would qualify for a recall though as it isn't safety related, more than likely a TSB they apply at servicing time as happened to your car...
