S3 rear xenon levelling rod

Hi car fail it's mot on Friday. One of the failures was headlight aim to low.
another one was the rear shocks. So I bought and replaced the shocks today
And noticed the rear level sensor rod is missing.
Dose anyone know what length the rod is so I can make one at work .
Also should the sensor arm be right at the bottom when the vehicle is jacked up?

might be a bit difficult to make as im sure its not a straight piece.

also to pass the MOT you can manually adjust it for now and disconnect the headlight leveller.
