Why do you and most folks think that a 2 door coupe with a bold colour is for the stereotypical mid-life crisis male? for a car such as the TTS or TTRS it deserves such a treatment, colour is taste dependant l know that as for the TT its still the best looking/ affordable/best built car Audi sellThis looks like Kermit The Frogs midlife crisis car
I contacted DTD yesterday after seeing what I thought was a good deal on a Q3 sport back, s-line with upgraded alloys for £30k! Today it's coming in at £32k when I run the figures! It was the same as this: https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202011136067215?in January when l ordered both drivethedeal and coast2coast had no discounts on the TTRS
We recently had one of these for a week off Audi while they fixed the drivers seat in the S3 we was pretty impressed with it . I would say the 35TFSI is a bit underpowered tho . My wife and 2 kids loved it the extra space you got over the S3 So now i'am looking at Rs Q3sI contacted DTD yesterday after seeing what I thought was a good deal on a Q3 sport back, s-line with upgraded alloys for £30k! That's one thing I was worried about, the 35 engine in a big lump of a car! I just thought it was a good price @ £30k. I look at what you can buy them for and then look at a future value figure on a pcp quote after 4 years, then take that price off the buy price and split it over the term to get a idea of the monthly loss, on that Q3 it was £14k loss in 48 months/£291 a month! Cheaper than doing it on a pcp deal. (Not an exact science but gives an idea). We recently had one of these for a week off Audi while they fixed the drivers seat in the S3 we was pretty impressed with it . The Volco XC40's and the VW Tiguans do well as a long term buys. Think I'll go SUV next as I don't do many miles now and I need something I can do the most with, I had to make two trips to the same place last week to collect stuff for the garden, with an suv it would have been one, also had to pay for things to be delivered as they wouldn't fit in the car!

I got that feeling of time is not infinite happening especially after my father passed away almost 4 years ago prior to that event it never occurred to meTheres a lot of psychology around what denotes a 'mid life' crisis, and why an outrageously coloured sports car may fall into that pool...I think its about the older you get you realise time is finite, and all those things you didn't do when you where younger can be done now before time runs out, and also you give less 'f***s' about what others think, so the more risky and out there more often or not the better - thus denoting mid life crisis car.
For some, buying a crotch rocket painted in a Ghostbusters prop paint can be one of those. For some, it's skydiving or cocaine and dancing girls in Vegas...
I like the TT, but being 6ft 4" I'd look like a right plum getting in and out.
I got that feeling of time is not infinite happening especially after my father passed away almost 4 years ago prior to that event it never occurred to me
Reasons for choosing the TT where
No other Audi car ticked as many boxes in my budget
New S3 is ****** dreadful IMHO
A 2 door car suits me the passenger and rear seats of my previous cars never got used
In hindsight l was erring on the side of caution .... choosing a tts when l should l have waited a month or so longer for the TTRS to be discounted hey ho what's for you won't pass you by and there's more to life than a faster car as we all know
Am 6ft who occasionally suffers from a bad back so I'll struggle now and again getting out of a TT l just wish the transporting of it would start to move its near 3 months since it was ordered

According to audi Grimsby another 6 weeks June the 1stWhat’s the current eta on the TTS mate ?
It’s less than a 10 minute drive from the port to the dealership over there. I’ve unfortunately visited Grimsby and seenlol to be honest naw....l am just bamboozled why a car can take 10 weeks to go from point A to B ie a port in Europe to a Dealer in Grimsby l actually think the port it arrives at aint far from the dealership it is what it is

Exactly 3 months since it was built if it is June the 1st its around 5 to 6 weeks behind schedule Audi state should have been collecting it this weekcrikey ... that’s slipped a bit hasn’t it ?
If they are quoting another 6 weeks, I'm calling BS on the updates you have been getting on your build process. It's more than likely your delay is due to the global shortage of semi conductor chips which are like rocking horse dung at the min. They are now saying the shortage of chips which are required for a multitude of electronic gizmos including car production could stretch well into 2022, maybe 2023.According to audi Grimsby another 6 weeks June the 1st

As l have posted my boss gets his new svr next week 4 weeks after the order was in ..no waiting on a ship thoughWent to Cotswold mini with father in law as he was looking at a new Countyman with pano, comfort pack and a few other bits. Dealt with the chap we bought the JCW and then Cooper S through . Deal done, with very good discount and top whack on his current Countyman. And delivery by end of June. They are shifting 40+ cats a week. Similar on the BMW side of dealership. Some of the models like X’s have slightly longer lead time but nothing like Audi!

Sorry no ....Jaguar is lndian built in England and still echoes of British Leyland reliability reverberate around the brandPost brexit it’s buy British time ;-)
We had a manual I guess that didn't help its probably a lot better with the S Tronic box .
Its the practicality of the Q3 that is selling it to us with the kids getting bigger and a 4 month old French bulldog we need more space .
I would only have a 35 tfsi in a A1....in anything larger it will begin to struggle especially up through the gears its ok on motorways though

Well a nice bloke called Robin from DTD phoned me up yesterday, the car would be ready November!!! No way I'd wait 7 months for a car.You know it makes sense

He told me the pcp figures were:
£30,090 for the car after discounts & deposit allowance (which is very good, can't find a used one for that!)
£1,000 deposit from me
48 months @ £392.90 @ 6% APR
Final payment of £15,603
Told him my idea was take it out on a pcp to get the extra discount then pay it off a month or 2 down the line, he said a lot do that My man maths says £30,090 to start, minus final value £15,603 = £14,487 loss, kept for 48 months = £301pm, so £91pm cheaper than doing a pcp deal.
Tiguan is a better looking car than a Q3

I'm leaning towards the XC40 tbh!!! BUT I do like the Tig and I keep thinking if I keep in the VW group I can get the guy I currently use to service it! Is that sad or a good thing that I've found a garage I trust 100%?!?!!?Tiguan is a better looking car than a Q3
