S3 8L - 3rd (centre) Rear Headrest

Long shot really...

Anyone know much about the 3rd headrest sketch for the rear bench?

I know it was an option when new and are rare as hens teeth to come across...

Wondering if there is an option to diy retrofit into standard seats...alot of the VW guys seem to think the holes are already there in the seat foams, even so far as Skoda have them already too.

There looks to be headrest guide/retainers available from Audi also...

Get a Recaro rear seat from a mk4 Gti, it fits straight in and looks much better than the s3 rear seat, the Recaro seat is available in 2 headrest version with armrest and center lap belt or as a 3 headrest version with 3 point center seatbelt

Because that would mean an expensive re-trim to match the front seats.

The modification with the kit most likely less that £30 to do as i already have a matching headrest.

Mine match just fine, it's a black leather Recaro mk4 Gti rear bench

I had three headrest on my first s3
And to be honest it was a right pain as you can't see out back window
2 is much better
