Firstly, thanks for even reading this, this is my first thread ever so please forgive me if im thick but im left with no choice other than ask.
I recently bought an 2002 1.8t its done 200000 (i know what your thinking) but no seriously its had 2 owners from new the first having it up until 148000 and the next till 200000 its been serviced approx every 10000 to 12000 miles with no expense spared, every service has been done by Audi specialists with cambelts and water pumps at 74000 145000 & 192000 seriously it must have been garaged all it life, i dont think the passenger seat has been sat more than a handful of times, its still got original stereo which amazingly hasnt peeled, no marks or dust behind clocks anything its pristine.
Anyhow it feels as though its not quite giving the full boost of throttle you would expect it to, dont get me wrong it runs and sounds beatifully , and ticks over amazing, if anything at all i think it might be hissing abit to much on acceleration but i carnt seem to see where? I have looked for any leaks but cannot find any? It feels about as quick as my Golf GTTDI 150bhp Should this be right or should there be a massive difference between the two?
i also noticed whilst looking for an air leak is that it often leaves like water/condensation when stood a while ticking over could this be the air con?is this normal? Seriously Please any info would be appreciated as this is my first S3 which i plan on keeping because its like new and i love it. Even if you who have the experience or know how who can tell me any dos and donts everything would be gratefully received .
