I've been told that Audi has a 10 year warranty on body rust. Is this true? and what are the chances of them actually sorting out the problem?

Thanks

Do a search, there's quite a few threads on this subject.

Think the general consensus is that unless you've full Audi service history, you won't get very far with it. I'd give it a go though, nothing to lose.

They do. Depends where the rust is, and whether it is as a result of a paint defect or wear and tear.

A rusty bubble as a result of a stone chip and lack of repair may not get past them.
Generally the paint warranties cover areas where the car is not expected to rust naturally or panel perforation from behind.
Worth a try though

Mine got rejected and I've got a couple of bubbles on the boot... Not sure how Audi HQ think that's a stone chip! :banghead:
