Rsap/data connection issues

I am aware the google maps problem relates to my facelift allroad. Although today I have lost my data connection and cannot retrieve it. It asks to manually enter the password etc which I do, but it doesn't offer the option to save it. It was automatically saved up to a few days ago. I use the wifi and data side on the car to view weather etc.
The loss of map overlays annoys me but not as much as having no useable data. There has been no software update on my phone, it's running android 11 with dec security patch. The car has not been to any dealer for months, so I'm at a loss as to why the data side of rsap has gone.

Anyone any suggestions?

You haven't connected as hands free rather than remote sim ????

No, I always use rsap because I get stronger signal. It doesn't seem to want to play ball somehow

Have you tried unpairing then repairing your phone?

Randomly, with NO changes at all, it is now working again. Maybe an audi connect issue, who knows?
