My RS3 is 3 years old next month and I just booked it in for brake fluid and Haldex oil change (I plan to extend the warranty too) and they mentioned there is a recall for a drive flange which will take 2 hours to do, does anyone know what that is for or have any more details?

Thanks

Had my rear flange changed last year under Campaign No 39F2
Found this on Motor-Talk.de :

quote:

Case no.: 2059548/1

Replace the gearbox input flange and sealing ring of the rear axle gearbox.

Technical background

On Audi RS 3 and Audi TTRS vehicles of a certain production period, a drive flange, which is outside the tolerance

was manufactured to be installed. It cannot be ruled out that the drive flange breaks over runtime. As a result, the drive falls

of the rear axle.

remedy

On the affected vehicles, the drive flange of the rear axle transmission must be replaced.
