There should’ve been a set of roof bars supplied as standard with your 2019 Q5. Anyway, I believe the roof bars are different for the Mk1 and Mk2 Q5’s so, perhaps, you’ve bought the Mk1 version bars.

Thanks Allan, I didn't get bars with my pre-registered car unfortunately.
But that clears things up
