Hi guys, I have a 2006 S4 V8 and would like to know what type of navigation system it runs, as to which type 2g 3g or any other and also if there is an instruction manual that can be down loaded or obtained and can it be upgraded in anyway via DVD or CD or even vcds can anything be enabled and disabled?

Hi, you can download user manual from www.Manualslib.com just search RNSE, I got mine fom there as the last owner lost the book.
The map updates and firmware are done through the CD drive behind the screen, I am using 2016 maps that has speed cameras and 7 digit post codes.
VCDS is used only to code the unit, if its working ok best leave it alone.
