RNS-E 7 digit post code problem.

Just an odd one from yesterday really.
I went to use the sat nav post code option to find an address and the mk2 wont accept 7 digit post codes...
It takes the first 6 then gives you a whole list of possibles depending on the area, I found that a bit of a pain as it took a while to find the correct details , had 7 digits been accepted the location details would have come up far quicker with a lot less fuffing around.
Is this just my unit or a general rns-e short fall.


Is there firmware update that addresses this.

Isn't there a map update disc that give speed camera warning and 7 didgit post code entry?

I have the newest map and updates Alex but still 6 digit code maximum.

Ah right i cheaped out and bought the version with 4 digit post code or something similar.

I don't really understand why audi didn't make the all the rns-e's all 7 digit postcode as we have been using them for a fair while now.

I updated my unit to 7 digit postcodes using a disk from

its 2016 update, but works fine for me.
