what is the general cost for a respray of the same coulour?

Depends on condition of body work etc and how good job you want doing .. When I was looking got it down to as low as £600 all in but for a decent job probs £1000 ish

1000 pound would be just in labour for a good job..

Material alone will be 500 plus.. I should know as i sell the stuff lol..


Im having mine done later this year, and will still cost me over a grand,.

a decent job should start at around £1500 upwards reallly depends what your after though as it can be done cheaper not a wise move though imo

Would also say 1500 for a perfect job, I had my front wings, bonnet bumper and whole n/s of my s3 done for 800, not a bad job either. pat, you must be getting ripped for materials nah 500 + 1000 labour sounds about right

Im a sprayer at an Audi approved garage it would be around £2000 + VAT depending upon the condition of the bodywork.

You have to remember a huge chunk of that, around £700 goes on materials and as Glasurit are the only Audi approved paint it tends to be expensive stuff, but you get what you pay for.

All our paintwork comes with a 10 year warranty.

It worries me these garage who claim to do a respray for 600-700

I can highly recommend the guys at Pentagon in Hertfordshire, did my A3 when I had it and the work was amazing.
