Hi,

curretnly I'm having 16" rims on my A6 3.0TDI Q (2006). I'm planning to fit it with replica 18" rimms and 245/40/18 tyres.

Tyres will be Continental ContiSportContact 3. Can anyone tell me what is the difference between:
SportContact 3 245/40 R18 97Y XL M0
SportContact 3 245/40 R18 97Y XL

What does the M0 stands for and which one to choose?

Second questions is about replica rimms. I'm choosing between below two styles (S8 and A6 LeMans). I have few questions here:
- What size should the rimms be? Is 8Jx18 OK?
- What aboout ET (35 or 42 or 45)? What is original/stock for Audi A6?
- what is the "hole" size ø66,6 or ø57,1

On below picture 20" rims are on white A6 and 19" on grey A6. Does anybody has a picture with 18" LeMans on (gray) A6?

thx for all your help

Welcome to the forum :hi:

I'm an A4 man really, so can't assist with many of your questions, but I do know that MO means Mercedes Only - ie tyres designed for a Merc fitment. They'll be fine for any other car tho! Just buy the ones that are cheapest!

Thank you.

I found out that 8Jx18 and 57,1 is OK for rimms. The only thing I need now advice on is weather to choose ET42 or ET35? Can anybody help?

The lower the offset the more the wheels will stick out of the arches - (apologies if thats teaching you to suck egggs!)

What are your current wheels offset?

On an A4 43 is about standard, but 35 will push the wheels 9mm further out.

I'm note sure what current offset is on 16"....

Does anybody have a picture with 18" on A6 with ET35 or ET43?

I put ET35 255/45/18 on my 2005 A6 and they went well, no rubbing etc. For me the Le Mans look good.
